Apple Crisp Recipe

  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups quick rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 6 - 8  medium size apples
  • 1/4 cup water

Peel and core apples. Cut them into 8 wedges. Add 1 tsp lemon juice if apples are not tart. Place in 8 x 8 inch pan and sprinkle with water

Mix rest of ingredients in a bow with hands until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of apple wedges and pat down gently. Make sure scrisp goes to edges. Bake at 350F for 30 to 40 minutes or until crisp is golden brown. Serve warm or cool with ice cream.
