Brownies Recipe

  • 9 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 9 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour

Preheat oven to 350F. Butter a 9 inch square pan. Combine the cocoa and butter, stirring until smooth. Stir in the sugar, eggs, salt, flour and vanilla, mix well. Spread in the pan and bake for about 35 minutes, until dru on top and almost firm to the touch. Cool for about 15 minutes, then cut brownies into squares. Note: Do not overbake, brownies should be moist and chewy.
