- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup flour
Beat the egg whited with an electric beater until stiff peaks form. Add the vanilla & mix well. Add sugar gradually, beating well after each addition. Beat until stiff & glossy. Fold in the coconut & flour, mix well. Drop by tspfulls onto a buttered & floured cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 325F oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 2 dozen macaroons.
