Dough:
- 3 egg yolks
- 16oz sour cream
- 1 1/2 lbs butter (unsalted)
- 7 cups flour
Filling:
- 3 cups crushed walnuts
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- **** 1 egg white to brush the doughÂ
Mix all the dough ingredients together. Shape into 9 - 10 balls. Chill in refrigerator for 6 hours.
Mix the filling ingredients (walnuts & sugar) together.
Roll the dough into pie size. Brush center with egg white. Cut into 8 pieces. Fill with nuts. Roll into crescents. Bake at 350F until golden brown. About 15 minutes, depending on the oven.
